You are about to
marry; to make a public commitment to one another, make vows My role is to assist you create a personalised ceremony that is memorable for you and your guests; a ceremony that will be a very meaningful one, setting the tone for your shared life into the future. As an authorised marriage celebrant and member of the ACMCV I am committed to standards such as respect for privacy and confidentiality, complaint procedures, punctuality, cultural sensitivity, fees, and continuing professional development.
Ceremony You will be offered a choice of ceremony, - carefully chosen words to suit the occasion. You will be encouraged to write your own vows or poetry if you so desire, or you can choose from my vast collection. Relatives and friends are welcome to be involved in reading the poems. But please may I ask that you acknowledge the author if known. Click here for some sample poems. I have gathered together some 'frequently asked questions', have a look at this page because there might be some answers there for you. You might like to add something a little different to your ceremony, i.e. Warming of the Rings, Handfasting, Blending of Sands, Lighting of Candles, or the Rose Ceremony. Click here to get some ideas to add interest to your ceremony. I will provide you with a presentation copy of your ceremony as a treasured keepsake, together with your Certificate of Marriage, and a presentation copy of "Your Marriage Vows". A PA system ensures that your guests can hear your ceremony.
By
choosing a civil marriage ceremony you are not confined to any one
particular venue. The choice of venue is limited only by your
imagination. It can be in your own home or garden, at a
wed The Marriage Act requires that you complete your Notice of Intended Marriage at least one month and a day prior to the wedding, but it is never too early to book your celebrant. Each couple must lodge with me a Notice of Intended Marriage. I will provide this, or you might like to download one from the Australian Government Web Site. To do this click here . I suggest that once you have set your date and time the celebrant should be the next booking you make. The Notice of Intended Marriage is valid for 18 months from the date it is signed.
